I purchased this textbook, as most people will, because it was required for a public speaking class. The usual comments about textbooks being obscenely overpriced apply, so that's not news.
The number of illustrative examples in every section serve to stretch what would only be a thin booklet into something the publisher can take to the bank, but they only repeat the same material over and over. And what they repeat is so politically slanted that the book doubles as propaganda. The only quotes from President Reagan (known by some as "the Great Communicator") were non-political ones; the author clearly not wanting to recognize a conservative as a good speaker.
My advice: avoid any class requiring this textbook unless your personal reading list includes "The Communist Manifesto" as well.

I never got it in the mail and bomb two quizes because it never got in! I dont have the money to waste on this! I wrote an e-mail to seller and never got a resopnse.

School books are boring! Haha! Everything was great! Got just what I was looking for and got it right away! Yeah! What else is there to say???
